I wrote down many character names from books that I read THIS YEAR (that's not a requirement; it was just a personal choice) and then mixed them up and I'm going to draw two at a time. Then I'll decide if I ship that ship, or if it is AWFUL & it needs to die. (:
HERE WE GO.
1. Princess Eadlynn from The Heir & Liam from The Darkest Minds
Umm... I think she would like his snarkiness, and you have to admit Liam is INCREDIBLY charming. I think Liam would kind of be into her too, actually. I'm going to tentatively ship this..?
2. Karou from Daughter of Smoke and Bone & Cress from The Lunar Chronicles
Hm. Well, I think... this wouldn't work. Cress needs someone more outgoing and crazy, like Thorne. BUT I think these girls would be REALLY good friends for sure! I ship this friendship!
3. Daemon Black from the Lux series & Nina from Six of Crows
Ohhh goodness. I TOTALLY SHIP THIS. They're both super hot, super funny, and really caring deep inside. They might butt heads a little bit, but I think they're both kind of into that anyway. HECK YES. I like this A LOT.SHIP SHIP SHIP.
4. Farrell from A Book of Spirits and Thieves & Winter from The Lunar Chronicles
Goodness no. Farrell would be totally turned off by the crazy. And Winter would go even crazier seeing how terrible Farrell can be! I kind of still love Farrell though. But Winter's more into good guys and Farrell is not patient enough. RIP.
5. Jackson Deveaux from The Arcana Chronicles & Lilac LaRoux from The Starbound Trilogy
Actually YEAH. I think Jackson is similar to Tarver in some ways and I think once they got to know each other, they'd be kind of adorable. At first they might hate each other a bit... but that's exactly what happened with Lilac and Tarver AND with Evie and Jackson and look how they all turned out! Ship 100%.
6. St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss & Kestrel from The Winner's Crime
...no. No. No. St. Clair is too sweet and cute and not very dramatic and Kestrel has SO MUCH GOING ON. Their lives would not mix together well and I think Kestrel wants someone even more headstrong than she is. Poor Etienne would die. RIP.
7. Cinder from The Lunar Chronicles & The Darkling from The Grisha Trilogy
Absolutely not. Hahahaha. No way on Earth. Cinder is SO GOOD and just wants what's best for everyone - she's trying to stop a corrupt ruler, so she would absolutely NOT want to be with one. They'd be trying to destroy each other the whole time. RIP ASAP.
8. Nikolai from The Grisha Trilogy & Lucien from A Court of Thorns and Roses
UHHH WHAT. Yes. I actually REALLY love this. Yes. They are both charming and hilarious and witty and YES. They would banter all the time and it would be great. They would be so much fun together. SHIP ALL THE WAY.
9. Manon from the Throne of Glass series & Elias from An Ember in the Ashes
No. Well... maybe. I don't know. I think poor Elias has such a good heart, but he has been raised to be pretty brutal... Goodness, I want to like this but Manon would tear Elias to shreds! RIP.
10. Rowan from the Throne of Glass series & Kady from Illuminae
HAHAHAHA. Umm I think Rowan would try to protect her and they'd help save each other... I mean, I guess this could work? Maybe a friendship would be better though. FRIENDSHIP SHIP.
11. Adrian Ivashkov from the Vampire Academy series & Laia from An Ember in the Ashes
Nooo. Adrian would try to seduce her but she wouldn't have it. I just think Laia is too serious for him. He's so crazy and adorable, but crazy isn't Laia's type. RIP.
12. Kaz from Six of Crows & Rafe from The Kiss of Deception
Haha YES. Surprisingly, yes. They're both adorable and I could totally see them being adorable together! They would be like Simon & Baz. Kaz would be Simon and Rafe would be Baz! I see this working! Totally ship.
13. Jesper from Six of Crows & Lysandra from the Throne of Glass series
Hehe. Yeah, as BFFs. They would be SUCH GOOD FRIENDS. I can see it already! But any other type of relationship is a NO. Ship as friends!
14. Baz from Carry On & Rose from the Vampire Academy series
Actually yeah. I think this could be a possibility. BECAUSE BAZ IS TOTALLY A VAMPIRE OH MY GOSH YES THIS WORKS. Hahaha. He's kind of mysterious, dark, & brooding... kind of like a combination of Dimitri + Adrian. Right? Yeah! This could work! SHIP.
15. Arin from The Winner's Crime & Lola from Lola and the Boy Next Door
Kind of? Maybe? I mean, Arin probably doesn't have time for her nonsense, but I think they could be potentially kind of cute. Am I right? I think so! Yeah, let's go ahead and ship it!
Sooo I feel like THIS KIND OF WORKED. I got a lot of ships! More ships than RIPs! And only a couple of the pairings really baffled me. Most I could kind of see happening. This was fun. (: My favorite was definitely Daemon & Nina. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM TOGETHER.
